I'm a new President's Choice Financial services member. What should I do first?

First, you should check to make sure you are using a supported browser. The President's Choice Financial services web site supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or better and Firefox 3.x or better.

In order to access the secure banking area, you'll need to register by selecting a password. To access your bank accounts, you can register by choosing "select a password to register?" at the top of each page. Select a password now.

What should I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your online banking password, you can still reset it by answering your personal verification questions. This is a convenient way for you to reset your password without even picking up the telephone.

If you haven't set up your personal verification questions and answers, please contact us at 1-888-723-8881 to reset your password. After verifying yourself, press 5 to select the online banking option from the main menu of the automated system and follow the prompts. Once you have reset your password, you will need to re-register for online banking.

Is there any legal information that I need to know?

Your Welcome Kit contains the legal agreement for President's Choice Financial, which we suggest you read before you bank with us. When you select a password to register for online access, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of that legal agreement.

What kind of Internet browser do I need?

To access online banking, you need a browser with a minimum of 128-bit encryption. Our web site supports Microsoft Internet 6 or better and Firefox 3.x or better with 128-bit encryption.

When I select the padlock in Internet Explorer I get a message that says, "This certificate has failed to verify for all of its intended purposes." Is this site secure?

Yes. Our secure site does use secure encryption to protect your banking information over the Internet. This is a known bug affecting versions of Internet Explorer 5, 5.01, 5.01 with SP1, and 5.5. By selecting the Certification Path in the same dialog box you will see the message in the bottom field advising "This certificate is OK."
